Developing a secure way to bring families and imprisoned loved ones together.

Canadian families needed a quicker way to send funds to their imprisoned loved ones. It had to be safe, secure, and easy to use for senders and recipients. The app required a 3rd-party payment vendor accessible across Canadian provinces.

THE SOLUTION

A safe, secure, and simple app to send funds.

The product had to work for both audiences: those on the outside and the inside. A web app was chosen for its accessibility and ease of use for everyone. Most importantly, it had to be secure for families to safely send funds to loved ones. We partnered with Paysafe to implement a 100%-encrypted money transfer tool. And to make on-the-go transfers easy, responsiveness was built into that app. Now families can use Synergy on any screen.
